Spark

Spark Summer Learning is a program of the Foundation for Lincoln Public Schools.

Equipment & Supplies

At Spark, we believe that providing high-quality STEAM learning and opportunities at the elementary level is critical to developing the next generation of leaders and ensuring we have the workforce pipeline for Lincoln’s booming STEAM industries. We know that between the ages of 6 and 12, students are forming critical opinions around their identity. Students who are not engaged in STEAM learning before age 11 are significantly less likely to study STEAM subjects or choose a STEAM career. At Spark, we strive to provide the best possible STEAM curriculum, activities, field trips, and guest speakers. We are committed to creating a community of excited STEAM learners!

Scholarships

At Spark, we believe that STEAM is for all! All students should have a chance to engage in STEAM learning. All students should be able to develop their critical thinking, problem-solving, and creative skills. Yet, we know that many students do not have these opportunities. Within Lincoln Public Schools, over 47% of students receive free or reduced lunch. Our goal is to match that need.

How can you help?

Your donation helps pay for low-income students to attend Spark.
