About the Award
The John Prasch Health and Physical Fitness Award is an award to recognize an educator each year who has made a significant contribution to students’ lives by promoting health and physical fitness. Mr. Prasch, a former superintendent of the Lincoln Public Schools, believed very strongly in educating students academically and teaching them to appreciate and practice good living habits that promote good health for a lifetime. This award, which includes a stipend, was created by Edward and Mary Copple to honor John Prasch and his dedication to the youth in our community.
